29.#Moses was born and hid for three months

The Israelites had a population explosion and settled all over Egypt. A new king came to power in Egypt who did not know Joseph. He was afraid of the Israelites’ power, so he mistreated them. He even gave orders to kill all the Israelites’ male newborns.
Moses was born under these circumstances. When his mother saw how beautiful he was, she hid him for three months until she could no longer hide him. Then, she made a basket out of papyrus and put Moses inside. She placed the basket among the tall reeds that were along the river Nile.
Pharaoh’s daughter came down to the Nile to bathe and heard Moses crying. Her heart was filled with compassion and she decided to save Moses and adopt him.
After a moment’s thought, Pharaoh devised a killing rampage. He justified his desires and hid his deepest fears and insecurities.
After a moment’s thought, Moses’ mother disregarded the death penalty she would have to face for defying Pharaoh’s orders and saved Moses’ life.
After a moment’s thought, Pharaoh’s daughter had compassion on Moses, adopted the enemy’s baby, cared for him, gave him the best education, and prepared him to become God’s useful servant.
Our roller-coaster life is made up of a series of adventures. All of these incidents testify about a God who is never absent. God is an active participant in our lives from the beginning until the end.
