28.#Joseph interprets Pharaoh's dream

Genesis 41 : 25-27
Size: 38×47cm
Material: silk thread

Pharaoh had a dream one night. He saw seven skinny and ugly cows eat seven fat and healthy cows. He also saw seven thin and dried-out ears of grain eat seven lush and full-bodied ears of grain
Joseph told Pharaoh, “God is setting Pharaoh’s mind at ease. God is telling you ahead of time what God is planning to do.”
He continued, “There will be seven years of great famine after seven years of great harvest. The whole world will be plunged into a food crisis. The only solution for this problem is to collect all the food produced during the good years ahead of time and store them throughout the towns of Egypt in preparation for the seven years of famine.”
Joseph’s answer flowed with wisdom and reflected God’s presence with him. Hence, Pharaoh made Joseph second-in-command in Egypt and Joseph ruled over all of Egypt.
Joseph’s childhood dream began to come true from the moment his coat of many colors was ripped off and he was thrown into an old cistern. It began to come true when he was sold into Egypt as a slave. Are trials curses in our lives? Or are they blessings in disguise? Perhaps they are neither. The purpose of trials is to make us understand what life is about, return to God, and receive God’s blessings.
