3.#God created the sun and the moon

Darkness always brings fear. It is unsettling and foreboding. It awakens every subconscious fear in human beings. Ghosts and nightmares come out of hiding. Darkness makes it impossible to see what is right under our noses. We don't know if we are stepping off a cliff with our next step.
However, God created two sources of light at the dawn of creation - one to guide us during the day and the other to illuminate our paths at night. God called one Sun and the other Moon. God also created the stars. Then, God placed all these bright stars in the sky to illuminate the whole earth.
Hence, all living creatures on earth had light. During the day, the sun led the way as though it were God's pillar of cloud. At night, the moon cast away total darkness as though it were God's bright torch. It was a source of hope and anticipation for a new day coming soon.
The sun will not harm you by day, or the moon by night. The Creator of the universe and of life promises to protect us. God knows when we go and when we come back. Our Creator will protect us from all danger - from now until forevermore.
